Vlog2Shorts collects your Sign in with Apple identifier and optional relay email, videos you choose to upload, audio, generated transcripts, highlights, renders, usage records, and limited diagnostics if error reporting is enabled in production.
We use this data to authenticate you, process videos, create clips, enforce free usage limits, prevent abuse, provide support, and maintain service reliability.
After your explicit consent, video frames, audio, and generated transcripts may be sent to OpenAI to transcribe content and identify or edit highlights. We do not sell personal data or use your uploads for advertising.
Private source videos and previews are scheduled for deletion after 7 days. Rendered clips are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Account deletion removes account data and stored media, normally immediately and no later than 24 hours.
We use Apple for authentication, Railway for application and database hosting, Cloudflare R2 for private object storage, OpenAI for AI processing, and Sentry for limited error diagnostics.
